BYOMA BOP GAME
COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The competition is playing the “BYOMA Bop” game with the aim of achieving the highest score of any entrant (the “Competition”). The game is to hit the five randomly appearing plastic ‘moles’ that surface from holes with a plastic mallet.
2. The promoter is BYOMA Limited, a company registered in England, with its registered office at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, United Kingdom, WC1N 3AX (the “Promoter”)
3. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the Competition are not permitted to enter the Competition.
4. The Competition is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary. Entrants will not be required to pay to enter the Competition.
5. To enter the Competition entrants must come to the “BYOMA Bop” booth at Manchester Trafford Centre and play the “BYOMA Bop” game between 9am and 10pm on 27 June 2025, 9am and 10pm on 28 June 2025 or 12pm and 6pm on 29 June 2025. Entrants may only play the game once.
6. The entrant achieving the highest score at the end of this period will be chosen as winner by the Promoter after the Competition closes. The winner will be notified on or after 29 June 2025.
7. One (1) winner will be chosen. This will be the entrant with the highest score by the closing date and time of the Competition.
8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware failure or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
9. The winner will receive a £500 Trafford Centre voucher (the “Prize”).
10. The name, address, email address and phone number of the entrants with the highest score from time to time, must be provided to the Promoter at the time of entry if requested via a Google form. The details of the winner will be shared within the BYOMA team to enable fulfilment of the Prize. The winner will be notified by email or telephone (using details provided at entry) as soon as reasonably practicable on or after the closing date stated in condition 6.
11. If the winner does not respond to the Promoter within five (5) of days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s Prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner.
12. The Prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. No third party may collect the prize on behalf of the winner.
13. Where a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that Prize for a prize of equal or higher value.
14. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
15. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, the Promoter will send the surname and county of the winner, along with their score, to anyone who emails hello@byoma.com within one (1) month after the Competition end date stated in condition 6. If you object to your surname, county and winning score being made available, please contact the Promoter at hello@byoma.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning score to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
16. In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.
17. Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry to the Competition. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to void, cancel, suspend or amend the Competition at any time.
19. Insofar as permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the Competition or any Prize for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage, personal injury, or death suffered by a entrant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the entrant and the Promoter and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.
20. Personal data supplied during the course of this Competition will be processed as set out in the Promoter’s privacy policy available here: Privacy policy – BYOMA UK. See also condition 15 with regard to the announcement of winners.
21. The winner will be contacted by the Promoter to notify the winner of their win. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used in accordance with the current UK data protection legislation.
22. These terms and conditions and the Competition are governed by English law. If any entrants to this Competition wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts of England and Wales, unless (and only insofar as) consumer legislation requires them to be allowed to raise proceedings in their local courts, in which case they may do so.
